Great mexican place. Always has had good food, now the have a newer larger building. Still on Sheppard Access, just across the street in the PINK building. Check them out.

I had the opportunity to go to La Pinata on Wednesday for lunch. Well....it will probably be my LAST trip!

The service was great. Absolutely no complaints there.

BUT....the food was TERRIBLE! I got the cheese enchiladas and OMG..the cheese inside was already so cold it was hard. The beans were dried and nasty. Two of the ladies with me also got the enchiladas (one cheese, one beef). They also thought they were terrible. No flavor etc. I didn't get the rice but one of the ladies did and didn't eat it.

The apple dessert things were good but I wouldn't drive out there for those!

AND....what Mexican restaurant doesn't serve fajitas?????? I even asked. NOPE! They don't fix them for lunch!

I was so disappointed. I used to love to go out there. I was with a small group and one of the ladies in the group picked the place. One of the ladies on my end said she wasn't happy to go there because it was awful the last time she went. She also said she wouldn't go back because it was EXACTLY like it was the last time she went. Crying or Very sad

I really hate to hear that. Part of the appeal of going there was the small little pink house. I really liked their food...haven't been since the move. And if WFMom ain't happy...ain't NOBODY happy! Very Happy

There was ONE lady in the group that was happy so I guess some people are happy even if I am not! HA HA

I just hate it when I get that disappointed. I was sooooo looking forward to eating there. I used to love it. If it hadn't been for the lady sitting next to me I would have thought we just caught them on a bad day. But she said it was just as bad the last time she was there.

they moved because the landlord of the other place wouldn't sell them the building, wouldn't make improvements to the building and wanted to raise the rent again. So they moved. I haven't been since they reopened.

I've heard several folks say exactly what wfmom said. I heard that while they were closed (about 5 weeks) the cook went elsewhere. Georgie can't cook and run the business. She is having trouble keeping a cook long enough to train them. Hope this problem gets solved.
