As part of the plan to get more faith village homes out of the flood plain -- Kemp will be closed. Project Manager Blane Boswell says the entire northbound lane will be closed for the next four months. The city will convert the three existing southbound lanes into just two southbound and one northbound. Then it will switch in four months. Many business managers say they're concerned about how the closing will impact sales. “This is all happening before Hotter ‘N Hell, just before school starts, during the Christmas and Thanksgiving rushes - those are big concerns for us,” said Ronnie Jackson (Arby’s General Manager). City leaders say they'll make sure that all the Kemp businesses are accessible -- but it just might not be as convenient.

oh man, thats just a few blocks from us.. That lane will be so jammed!! I wonder how far it goes.. just to the callfield/midwestern intersection?? |

yeah I guess the traffic flow in our neighborhood may be more than usual. |
